Do you hear a little voice in your head? The one that says, âWho, me?â whenever you think of stepping outside your so-called comfort zone, (the one thatâs starting to become uncomfortable)? Who are YOU to rise above your station or your status in life?
You are a unique and unlimited, talented, amazing, beautiful person – thatâs who you are.
But hereâs the problem.
Other people donât necessarily want to see you that way. Itâs not because it isnât so. Itâs because they donât feel that way about themselves – so theyâre not about to praise you to the heights, are they?
Feel sorry for them, but not for yourself.Â
Keep your dreams under wraps until they turn into your reality.
Tell only God – or whatever your version of Higher Intelligence is.
And remind that little voice that it came from well-meaning and probably loving grown ups when you were very small – who, in turn, got their own inner doubting voices from well-meaning and probably loving grown ups.
Climb your personal ladder of success quietly. Then, when youâre near or at the top some will follow. Some will be inspired. Others who reached those heights and beyond will be there to greet you and encourage you to keep going – and to go even further.
And some will stay below, on the ground, shaking their heads and saying how foolish you were to take the risk of climbing that high in the first place.
They are merely envious because they are lacking in the self belief you have found. Wave them farewell. You canât help those who wonât help themselves.
The view from up here is magnificent. Your heart will sing, your face will beam with delight and you will radiate the joy that only comes from someone who is living their life to the fullest extent of their own potential.
