When did you last pay yourself a compliment?
What do you mean, “never”?
There’s a tactic I’ve seen used – and adapted once or twice myself – in personal development workshops. All you have to do is spend ten minutes writing down all the things you don’t like about yourself.
If you’ve never done this, you could resist the temptation to skip ahead and just close down your computer screen while you do it. Then come back and read the next part. I’ll wait.
The only rule is – no more than ten minutes, so write as fast as you can.
GO!

Okay … now here comes part 2.
You have another ten minute assignment. Take a blank piece of paper and this time write down all the things you DO like about yourself.
Ready … GO!
============
Oh … back so soon? Did you manage to keep writing for a full ten minutes?
Which list is longer? If it’s the second one, congratulations! If it’s the first one, (which for most people it is – so don’t worry, you’re in plenty of good company), you need to start noticing your strengths and talents.
There’s never been another you, you know. And there never will be.
I’ve created an entire program which includes some powerful strategies and ideas for liking the person you are. It’s called “Knowing Where To Knock” – and in it I show you how to get life’s doors of opportunity, prosperity and success to open for you.
And it all begins with liking yourself.
(What’s the point of having everything if you don’t like the owner anyway?)

Meanwhile, please share your experience if you did the little process I set you in this post! Enter your comments below…
