3 Fast Ways To Change Your Luck

My father used to sell “good luck” trinkets to tourists when I was a child.  One of his best sales assistants had a great line for the ladies whenever they picked up one of the lucky charms and showed hesitation about whether to buy it or not.

He’d say, “Put in your purse, madam, and your purse will never be empty!”

It always worked and never seemed to occur to the poor ladies that the only thing he was guaranteeing was that they’d have a lucky charm in their purse!

The belief in luck, providence, fate or whatever you call it stems from the core belief that everything that happens is random and that we have no meaningful control over our destiny.

Now, of course there’s truth in that when it comes to matters of life and death, the elements and certain other things, but at a more personal level we undoubtedly have much more control than most of us think – or dare to believe.

I say undoubtedly because even science is bearing out the facts now.

Thoughts and emotions – which are energy – affect the outcomes of experiments.  Check out the work of Dean Radin, for example.  Or read Lynne McTaggart’s seminal book, “The Field” for mind blowing but well documented examples.

The fact is, we are not separate from everything else.  (How could we be?)

And furthermore, everything, you and me included, is made of energy.  Matter is just energy slowed down.

We know that energy changes its form – that’s what it does.  Eat an apple and it will no longer be an apple, but some of its energy will become you!

The question is, what can you do to influence what happens to you?

Here are 3 suggestions to get you started:

  1. Become aware of your limiting beliefs and commit to change them.  If you think something’s not achievable yet it’s been done by others, then there’s probably no valid reason why you couldn’t do something similar.
  2. Make “happy ending” movies in your head instead of “disaster movies.”  This is really another way of saying, “Stop worrying!”  Worry doesn’t solve problems but it does make you feel bad.  All worry is really nothing more than imagining a bad outcome when in fact you have the choice to imagine everything turning out well!
  3. Forget about the “how.”  This is a tough one for many people, but it really means allowing nature to take care of stuff.  You set the intention, which can be likened to programming your car’s GPS (or SatNav).  You’ve decided where you want to go but how you get there – the route taken – is not something you need to work out for yourself because the GPS will do that for you.

These are hard mind-shifts to make if you’re not used to them.  But simply becoming aware that you have such choices available to you is more than half the battle won.

You can choose what to think, what you focus on … and in turn that influences how you feel and the decisions you make.

Ultimately, that shapes your destiny.

You’re always free to choose, of course.  And you can dismiss all the above as baloney.

However, I’d urge you to consider, before you do that, that believing whatever it is you believe has got you to where you are right now.

If you’re satisfied with your financial situation, love your job, have constant good health and are settled in a blissful relationship, then you’ve almost certainly got life handled.

But if not, then perhaps it’s time to consider change – and that can only and always come from within.

If you’d like help, I recommend you pick up “Instant Good Fortune” which is a very comprehensive package taking you through how to visualise effectively, how to overcome negative beliefs and even how to handle life’s tougher challenges.
