The following article contains a very powerful process for manifesting dreams into reality that has changed lives.  If you feel inspired by it – even a little – please use the Facebook and Twitter buttons on this page to share it with others who may also be inspired.  Thank you.

Watch a child blowing bubbles and feel the delight both of you experience.

Part of the joy of bubbles is watching them float away … and vanish.

That’s great with bubbles.  But it’s not so hot if those are your dreams.  Those you need to be able to capture.

The problem is, much of the time we treat our dreams like bubbles.  They feel good in the moment you think of them, and then a moment later you say to yourself, “Nah.  Silly me!”  And the bubble bursts and you move on, back to daily drudgery and faded passions.

Most of the time, you don’t even notice yourself doing it, but every now and again you’ll wince a little as you remember what you once hoped you might have made of your life.  Then you rationalise – ten thousand excuses will flow from your lips if need be.

You’re too old, too young, under-qualified or inexperienced.  You have children and a mortgage.  You are tall, short, fat, thin, blue-eyed or you have an ingrowing toenail.

Whatever you tell yourself – and others – someone has overcome far worse and has made it.

The least you can do to start believing in yourself once more is to capture the bubbles.

Write it down!

Not just a jotting, but a page.  Write a script – a story – with you as the central character as if the date was a year from today looking back.  Begin the piece with something like, “Who’d have thought a year ago that I …”

When you’ve written it, read it aloud to yourself.  If you have a trusted loved one nearby and you can summon some courage, read it to that person.  But not if you think they’ll pour cold water on it or ridicule you.  That’s why you’ve let all those bubbles go already.  But don’t skip this step.  The power of saying the words out loud plus hearing them cannot be overestimated.

Read it and feel it.  These are not empty words – this is your life, your dream.  It might make you cry and that’s okay.  In a year you’ll be looking back and remembering those tears with the pride of what you’ve achieved.

Then put it away in a safe place, but somewhere you can find it again.

Now pull out your cell phone or computer diary and mark the date exactly 6 months from today.  Set a reminder to pull it out and read it again, and then put it back and set the reminder for the anniversary.

In the meantime, go about your life.

The key to the power of scripting this way is in feeling what you’ve written.  The more you can connect with the power of the dream the more you’ll be amazed at how much of it can come true.  It’s okay if you don’t remember it every day – you won’t, so don’t worry.  Just the memory of the fantastic feelings conjured when you wrote and read it is enough to set the ripples in the pond going for a long time.

Now, you’ve read this article.  Will you do the process?  If not, ask yourself why you won’t give yourself even half an hour for manifesting intentions!  These are your own dreams!  What are you afraid of?
