Money and spirituality are often seen as antagonists, but faith has many ways of showing itself.
Hugely successful people often don’t ask God for help. They simply let go and trust that it will come.
The great personal development teacher and multi-millionaire, Tony Robbins, taught me, when I was a student on his “Mastery University” program back in 1999, that he has never come across an example of poverty or lack producing good. Where there is poverty, he pointed out, there breeds crime, disease and pain of all kinds.
The way to help is clearly not to become one of them. If you want to pull somebody out of a hole, you first have to be on the outside of the hole!
Although Tony does not openly speak about his religious views, he often makes reference from the stage to God, once asking a young man who was questioning him from the audience:
“Do you believe in God?”
The young man said, “No.”
Tony’s swift response was, “You will.”
Dr. Joe Vitale, star of “The Secret” movie, who is not only a multi-millionaire marketer but also a much beloved teacher of the law of attraction, frequently refers to “the Divine” in his talks and writings.
From once being homeless in the 1970s, he puts his huge success down to learning to train his mind to focus on gratitude and positivity and finding his way to the belief that there is a greater power at work.
Brandon Gaille is one of the most successful bloggers on the planet. His blog, “The Blog Millionaire” receives in excess of a million visitors a month and he has helped clients get more than 3 million visitors a month to their blogs.
Gaille was struck down by a brain tumour a few years ago which almost ended his life, as it put his body into overdrive, making it impossible for him to sleep, even forcing him to urinate in bottles because his body would not give him time to make it to the bathroom. He was literally dying of exhaustion.
During his lengthy – and miraculous – recovery, his wife became pregnant, only to be diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.
Today, they have two sons and both parents are in good health. Gaille speaks of his faith openly in his blog posts about his and his family’s incredible history.

These summaries do not do their incredible stories justice, but I am recounting the highlights to make a point.
If Tony Robbins, who had nothing more than a basic education and who spent some of his childhood in poverty, can become one of the most successful, wealthy and beloved teachers of human potential in the world …
And if Joe Vitale can rise from sleeping on the streets of Dallas to one of the most respected authors and teachers in at least two fields …
And if Brandon Gaille can come back from the brink of death and muster enough energy and information to fight to save both his wife’s and unborn son’s life … and then go on to become a millionaire in a marketplace that appears saturated already …
What’s YOUR excuse?
Perhaps you haven’t made it to the success you desire, (and that doesn’t have to be millionaire status), because you don’t have enough FAITH.
I don’t mean in God necessarily. You can call it what you will.
I’m talking about trusting your own inner wisdom. Your guidance. The drives and passions you have.
It’s quite okay if you argue that those come from God.
But it’s equally okay if you don’t – as long as you acknowledge that they’re there.
As the late, great Dr. Wayne Dyer was fond of saying,
“Don’t die with your music still in you.”
He certainly didn’t. He taught self reliance, but he also extolled us to “think like God thinks.”
Does this work?
I quit my day job at the end of 2013 to follow my passions and help others to fulfil their dreams.
I’m not a millionaire, but I’m doing what I love.
Sometimes it takes me down strange avenues – but if the “nudge from within” is there, I follow – and I’m guided to all kinds of interesting and unexpected liaisons and ideas and opportunities.
It’s an adventure – and I wouldn’t go back to having a job if you paid me. Not even a million.
If you’d like me to show you how to follow your dreams and have faith in yourself, and maybe something higher too, (no religion here – this is a spiritual as well as pragmatic journey), then you can apply HERE for a free Skype consultation.
